Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach (Lincoln, NE) is a faith-based hunger relief and outreach program that was established in 1992. A Place at the Table based in Stromsberg, NE, is a community of people dedicated to heeding the call to love one another, in the spirit of Matthew 25:35-40. Together, they reach out with compassion, grace, and humility to feed the hungry and homeless, welcome the stranger, and visit the sick, lonely, or imprisoned. In doing so they affirm the inherent worth, and dignity of every human being, and strive to create opportunities for all to serve according to their ability. Central Nebraska Aids Relief efforts are underway at Way of Grace. There is a crisis due to increased cases in our area. We have been collecting towels, washcloths, hygiene and other items to assist those in need and transporting them directly to the central office in Kearney.
Clay County Food Pantry provides emergency groceries, at no cost, to individuals and families living in Clay County who are struggling to make ends meet. Way of Grace is deeply concerned about the growing issue of hunger in our area. Through the Way of Grace “Loaves and Fishes Ministry” participants in Way of Grace are actively involved in running the Clay County Food Pantry. Way of Grace also supports this program with food drives and cash donations.
Crossroads Mission in Hastings, NE, provides shelter and food and a wide range of services to homeless individuals and families. Crossroads’ four step program assists men and women in re-establishing independent lives. Way of Grace makes regular contributions to this important ministry.

Neighborhood and Immigrant Ministry - Way of Grace is aware that many of our neighbors are “falling through the cracks” in these especially difficult economic times. As we are made aware of needs, particularly of immigrant families, we have reached out with food, clothing, furniture, utility bills, assistance with immigration paperwork and responded to other special requests for help.
TeamMates mentoring program matches caring adults with school children in need of some extra support. Mentors meet with their mentee at the school weekly. Members of Way of Grace serve on the board of directors for Sutton TeamMates and serve as mentors. Way of Grace also supports the annual TeamMates fund raiser, “One Hour Walk.” For more information go to www.teammates.org
Sutton Area Aid - Way of Grace participates in this local organization of churches to help provide emergency food, gas and lodging to travelers passing through Sutton who find themselves running short. Area Aid also brings pertinent community issues before City Council and sponsors a baccalaureate service for graduating high school seniors and their families.
Sutton Community Home offers assisted living and nursing care to residents of the community and surrounding area. Way of Grace provides regular visitation, hosts “Saturday coffee” and Sunday afternoon worship several times a year.
